There are many types of insurance, and one of them is life insurance.  A lot of people purchase a life insurance primarily to secure the future of their family in case they pass away.  But what if you are investing so much in it and it's making your finances unstable?  In as much as you want to pay a minimum premium, are you free to do so?  Can you get hold of the life insurance that you like without any conditions? When choosing a life insurance policy, most people usually look into their premiums.

The lower the premiums that you have to pay, the better it is for you.  However, you really can't choose the premiums on your own.  Why?  Since there are certain factors that affect the premiums of a life insurance policy.  Most Assurance companies check on the health of all people wanting to avail of a life Assurance.  The health condition is a major factor for companies as this can help them assess the category in which an applicant should belong.

One way for you to pay a low insurance premium is that you have to be 100% healthy, but if you have health problems, expect that you'll be paying higher premiums. Not all applicants are 100% healthy, but they do not have serious health problems.  These people are categorized as standard and they have to pay an average premium rate.  There's also what's called uninsurable wherein insurance companies have to reject insurance applications of people who have an extremely terrible health condition.

The health condition is really the top factor in determining insurance premiums.  If you have a perfect health, you definitely are risk-free and you will pay a minimal amount of premium.  If you have an ailment that may shorten your life, you will have to pay the highest premium.

Your Assurance premium may also be determined by your health history and of your family.  If your family hasa history of cancer, hypertension or diabetes, you may be categorized as high risk.  Your job or daily activities also are a factor set by Assurance companies in determining premium rates.  If, for instance, you are a police or a soldier, you will pay higher premiums.

There's a possibility that the risks may be lowered.  If you will try hard to improve your health, your insurance company will be more willing to apply lower premiums on your policy.
